projects designed to create an entire community. EDG’s
work included advice on the place of education in the community
for all residents, individual school designs and arrangements
for educational technology in the schools and community.

Research and Consulting: |
- Participated in "Baldrige”-based evaluations of
schools in Detroit, Michigan and Norfolk, Virginia.
- Prepared wide-ranging report to the Florida Governor’s Commission on Education (1998-99) on education technology and presented recommendations to the legislature. Learning Power focused on connecting people, technology and supportive policies and conditions to enhance student learning and teacher effectiveness.
- Prepared white paper with Florida State University on Charter School Accountability for the Florida DOE and Legislature.
- Advised the Junior ROTC on ways to achieve greater recognition in the service learning, leadership (particularly for young women) and character education communities while strengthening programs; also advised on creation of community support of programs and cadets through alumni and service activities.
